This recipe uses honey, milk, butter, flour, cornstarch, yeast and water, but you can also use all the ingredients in a jar.
I hope you love honey baked hams as much as I do, so here’s how you make one!
Make a honey bourbon.
If you don’t have an old-fashioned sugar thermometer, make one by pouring a half-cup of sugar into a measuring cup.
Put the cup in the microwave and heat until the sugar dissolves, about 2 minutes.
Take a teaspoon of honey.
Pour the mixture into a jar, fill it with honey, and seal the jar.
Take the jar, put the lid on it and shake it vigorously.
The mixture should bubble, but if not, you can shake it again.
Put a honey pie crust on top.
Put about a cup of sugar in a pie plate.
Pour it over the top of the honey and seal it. 5.
Make the honey baked butter.
Place the sugar in the food processor and pulse until it is completely combined with the butter.
Then add the flour and beat until the dough becomes sticky and the mixture starts to form a ball.
Add the milk, water, yeast, corn starch and the yeast mixture and pulse for another minute.
Add some corn syrup and mix well.
Heat up a large pot and add a cup or two of honey, 2 tablespoons of butter and a few drops of salt.
Boil the mixture until it begins to bubble, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat and let cool slightly.
If the mixture does not become soft, just add a teaspoon or so of milk to the mixture, and keep the lid closed to keep it from boiling.
Add more honey to the butter mixture and let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes.
Pour a little of the mixture over the honey pie, then sprinkle the top with the honey.
Let the mixture cool for a few minutes.
Then scoop out a spoonful of the mix and dip into the ice water.
Keep the pie in the freezer until you are ready to use it.
To make the honey butter, place the butter in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
Add salt, corn syrup, vanilla and honey.
Serve warm or cold.
