The NBA announced on Tuesday that the league will be sending home more than half of its home games next season.
It will be the first time since the NBA expanded to 30 teams in 1976 that all of its regular season home games will be played at the same time.
The rest of the league, however, will not be sending its home teams home.
The NBA will still host home games at the new Staples Center.
It has been rumored that the Staples Center could be moved for a new arena.
The league also announced that the NBA will be hosting an event in Los Angeles next month.
The event will include a Q&A with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.
ESPN’s Kevin Pelton and the Associated Press contributed to this report.
