If you love the smell of freshly baked honey, you’ll love this sweet treat.
Weighing in at just 1.8 grams per 100g, honey dippers are delicious treats that are just as easy to make as the real thing.
The key to making a good honey dipping is keeping it simple.
Here’s what you need to know.
What you need: Ingredients: For the honey: 1 teaspoon of instant coffee powder (such as a Starbucks blend or espresso coffee) 2 tablespoons of instant white sugar 2 teaspoons of instant vanilla extract 2 teaspoons honey (or another sweetener of your choice) Directions: Heat up a pan of water.
Add the instant coffee and stir.
Add in the instant white sweetener.
Cook for about two minutes and then add the sugar and vanilla.
Cook another two minutes.
Add more instant coffee to the pan and cook another two to three minutes.
Stir in the honey.
Once the sugar has dissolved, add in the flour and cook for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add water and cook the honey dipped for 15 to 20 minutes.
Remove from the heat.
If the honey is too sweet, add more instant sugar and cook over medium-low heat for 10 to 15 minutes, then add more water if needed.
When the honey has been dipped, remove from the pan.
Using a spoon, scoop the honey onto a plate.
Drizzle with the remaining sugar and serve immediately.
